Everlasting God... National Day of Prayer!

The Book of Job
Chapter 1

v. 20 "Then Job arose, and rent his mantle and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped. (His result of Grief)

v. 21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. (His reaction)

v. 22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. (He didn't allow his situation to blur his perspective)

Today the Governor of Alabama declared this 1st Sunday of May a National Day of Prayer.
Today we lift up in prayer those who have lost everything including love ones.
Today we praise God for the provision that He has prepared for every need that has to be met!

Let us remember Job.
He lost everything including his family but in the midst of his loss, pain, anger, frustration, confusion etc he never once cursed God. He glorified Him every step of the way. When he couldn't see what was lurking in front of him, to know what God had in store, when faith could've easily faltered because the enemy and his low-down ways is the Prince of lies and deceit, when tomorrow became a day he didn't care to see... He PRAISED HIM anyway!

So let us praise Him for what he has in store: restoration of neighborhoods, families, broken hearts, emotional statuses, and stillness in the midst of chaos.

We love you Lord!
We glorify your name!
We are so unworthy but you have mercy on us anyway!
It could've easily been me...
But your grace and love said I'm not finish with you yet!

Head bowed, eyes closed, heart open:
