Today I'm thankful for electricity!
I woke up this morning and did not want to get out of my bed (which is normal) because aside from my bed being a trap it was soooo warm and cozy. At 6am it is 33 degrees outside and in the seconds I had the covers off I felt the chill in the air. Immediately my heart and thoughts went to those who have been impacted by hurricane Sandy who are still without power and who are now having to deal with the snow storm that came through. They are lacking heat and where we have the choice to use the heat, take our power bill into consideration or not, they don't.
This morning that was disheartening and my prayers are with those suffering through this period without power. May God wrap His warm and gentle arms around them, provide unusual favor for them and keep their minds and spirit on His promises.
The things we take for granted is something someone somewhere is praying for.
All my love,
Caneeka
